The Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom, on Saturday, expressed his support for the federal government’s decision to remove fuel subsidy.
The governor stated this while speaking at the funeral mass of the mother of the minister of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Chief Audu Ogbeh.
Ortom, a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), noted that the decision by government to remove subsidy was in the best interest of the country considering the present economic situation.
The Governor also restated his advocacy for the establishment of ranches as a means of ending the continuous attack by Fulani herdsmen.
