Cristiano Ronaldo’s brace in Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday brought up another landmark for the player as his opener was his 50th goal of the current campaign in all competitions.
However, the really remarkable thing about the Portuguese player is his consistency in front of goal – this is the sixth season in a row in which he’s scored 50 goals or more making him the first player to score over 50 goals in 6 consecutive years in top flight football.
